Pure Video Art

Yes yes yes, I know. Passion Pit's "The Reeling" isn't a new song, but, when I saw this video again today after not seeing it for awhile I was reminded how great it was. The concept of the video is genius and the way they have torn pieces of paper, make out the bodies and surrounding buildings, is pure video art. Here is just that video:

Jockin My Fresh: Outfit Of The Day

This was snapped of a man outside Colette, in Paris. The perfect fit of everything he has on is what I like most. The jacket is a perfect form fit to his slim body as well as the pants. Aside from the perfect scarf for the outfit, the glasses are a nice addition as well.

The First Flight

So if you watch MTV's hit show, "Runs House", then you know who Diggy Simmons is. What you may not have known, is that this 14 year old, can actually rap... for his age. He shows a ton of promise and potential and the production on his debut mixtape, is very very well done. Although Diggy's voice sounds like Bow Wow when he featured on Jagged Edge's "Where Da Party At?", the songs are pretty ill. Listen below before you download!

Travis Barker's Rock ReMix-tape

I am sure, like myself, everyone has seen at least one Travis Barker remix to any given hip hop song, on YouTube. Well, he has done enough remixes to rap and r&b songs, to make a mixtape. Imagine that! Here it is! Below is the preview to listen to it and then download it at the link below. Enjoy!

Jockin My Fresh: Outfit Of The Day

How fucking dope is this guy? This is just your average every day citizen, walking in a crosswalk, in downtown London. This what I'm talking about! Fashion and style is e-v-e-r-y where. This guy is the definition of Jay-Z's line, "You can learn how to dress, just by jockin my fresh", which is of course why these posts are titled what they are. Some people who read this, should be jockin someone else's fresh because they cannot dress on their own.

Eat Noodles, Save Babies!

My dear friend Amelia put me up on this, and I'm glad she did. This is a very good cause and is very simple to do for all you Spartans in East Lansing. Eat at "Noodles & Co." tomorrow, Thursday December 3rd, and 25% of the cost of your meal, will be donated to MSU's March Of Dimes. You MUST print out the flyer above in order to make sure your donation goes to this great group.

The money we raise will:
1. Support all-important research offering preventions and solutions for babies born too soon or with birth defects.

2. Educate women on things they can do to increase their chances of having a healthy baby

3. Provide comfort and information to families with a newborn in intensive care

4. Push for newborn screening and health insurance for all pregnant women and children.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. If you are going to be out and about, possibly going to dinner prior to your Thirsty Thursday activities, you might as well stop out and help a good cause before hand. Maybe make yourself feel less guilty for the inappropriate and mischevious behavior you are going to take part in that night. Do your part!

Jockin My Fresh: New York City Edition

When going over some photos of fashion from across the world so I could do this daily post, the beautiful people of New York City kept coming up. I was so inspired by the outfits these people wore, that I decided to dedicate an entire post to more than one of them. Below, are some of the best points of fashion that your average every day citizen of New York City has to offer. Fashion across the world is absolutely incredible, but there is something that New York puts out, that not a single city on this planet can touch.

The above photos are of Diana Lunt, an assistant fashion editor. She said a lot of the time she dresses the way she feels that day, which explains the two drastic differences in the outfits. I fell in love with her, not for strictly her fashion, but rather the answer to an interviewers question. He asked, "What is your favorite cocktail?" Her response? "I don't drink cocktails, but I love a good whiskey on the rocks." You just stole my heart Diana.

The above picture is without a doubt my favorite. The fabric that is used for the vest and jacket looks entirely too comfortable. On top of that, the heather grey with the finely lined white stripes are an absolute perfect match.

Last but not least, probably my favorite thing about the phase I'm going through now, shoes without socks. The picture below displays that perfectly.

Thank you New York City. The world's fashion sense would be a bit dimmer if it weren't for you.
